Below is a list of the known issues you may encounter when running zztat. These are related to Oracle database software bugs, and we're in a limited position to correct them. There are, however, patches available from Oracle for some of the issues.
Jobs time out
- ORA-2800: REQUESTS TIMED OUT WHEN USE_CURRENT_SESSION = FALSE (Doc ID 473551.1)
Oracle bug 6525126 may cause this error when running Oracle scheduler jobs in a database that was upgraded, but the time zone files were not properly updated. See Oracle support Doc ID 473551.1 for details.
ZZ$REACTION_QUEUE is UNDEFINED or INVALID
- ZZ$REACTION_QUEUE queue object is listed as INVALID and/or with UNDEFINED object_type in dba_objects or user_objects.
There are several Oracle software bugs that may cause this:
Bug 18297943 : ORPHAN OBJECT TYPE#=83 AFTER DROPPING JOB AND QUEUE / ORA-904 ON NEW JOB
Bug 12910363 : CAPTURE_TEST4Q QUEUE HAS UNDEFINED OBJECT TYPE AND OBJECT TYPE# IS '83'
Bug 13740701 : UNDEFINED DATATYPE OBJECTS CREATED FOR ADVANCED QUEUES
Bug 8933082 : QUEUE OBJECTS TYPE IN ALL_DEPENDENCIES IS UNDEFINED
zztat should automatically detect this during normal operations and restart the queue, rendering it valid and restoring regular functionality. It's safe to ignore this.
